My name is LeePatrick McIntire and I am a graduating senior in the Design and Industry Department at San Francisco State University.

I started as a DAI major with an emphasis in product design but changed to interdisciplinary last semester when I couldn't get into the model-making class (which would have pushed my graduation back another year!). I feel that all good design begins with a discussion amongst friends; with a pencil and a notebook. Design is more than regurgitation. It is an intellectual, emotive, creative activity. I enjoy the art of sketching as well as making 3D models and prototypes; interested in all things tech and fascinated with the complexity inherent in simplicity.
I am inspired & wow-ed by the successful melding of technology and beauty. I am a technophile.
I am influenced by a wide array of things, from Antoni Gaudi's La Sagrada Familia to Le Corbusier's Villa Savoye. From Joe Colombo's Optic Clock to Astro Gaming's Kyocera Cellular Phones.
My hope or vision for my lifetime is to have the opportunity to create value for people through the products I design. I someday hope to be able to work in my own studio with colleagues and friends to make life a little better each day.
